Ah… Paris!

View of Eiffel tower from the Jardins du Trocadéro

I’m back from a short trip to Paris, this is basically why I haven’t posted anything lately! We had a great time there, the weather was excellent and we got to visit some (highly touristic) attractions what we hadn’t visited yet. No, we didn’t climb the Eiffel tower, we did that in 2003! But we visited the Musée de l’Homme, situated in front of the tower, on the other bank of the Seine…

On the more sew-y and fabric-y side (that’s what this blog is all about, right?), I finally got the chance to visit the famous Marché Saint-Pierre, steps away from the Sacré-Coeur church. I didn’t make any purchases because I was on a tight budget but some day, some day… They have all sorts of fabric, from cheapo stuff to fancy silks, at a broad range of prices. And the fabrics are split on five floors… FIVE FLOORS! That’s a real fabric-addict paradise😀 But the Marché Saint-Pierre isn’t the only fabric store in the area, actually there are fabric and notions stores at almost every street corner around there.

Here are a few pictures of my trip down fabric lane…
